For each project that we undertake there is a set procedure to ensure health and safety issues are highlighted and controlled prior to commencement. For small installs the technician will complete a compulsory set risk assessment form prior to starting.
For larger jobs, requiring set installation or other complex work, a much more involved procedure is followed:
- The Project Manager will visit the site to discuss the customer’s requirements and discuss Health and Safety aspects of the job with the client and venue, including any special requirements specific to the client/site.
- A full risk assessment in written form with confirmation of findings is then produced, then a method statement, detailing how the install will be implemented, addressing any issues the risk assessment highlighted. This will be discussed with the venue in order to liaise with other contractors or workers (catering teams etc) who may be on site during installation, the event itself, or the de-rig.
