If necessary the Project Manager will issue Permit to Work documents, necessary when there are specific risks identified that require special control. When these are in place no-one can become involved with the job without contacting the manager and signing onto the job. They will be briefed on the risks and informed of their responsibilities, and when a PTW is in force anyone on site not involved and signed on will be excluded from the work area.
At the commencement of each work period the Project Manager will gather the workforce to discuss any issues. The Project Manager will continually monitor the site to ensure safety is not being compromised and place further safety procedures in place if a further risk is identified.
