Mark Pollock, Principal
Mark G. Pollock, one of The Financial Group’s founding partners, has nearly 30 years of expertise and insight in the insurance and financial services industries. Before forming The Financial Group, he was Vice President of Insurance Services at Huntington Bank for five years. Previously, he was Principal and President of Pollock & Pollock, Inc., a Cleveland insurance agency. He was also a Principal of Clark/Bardes for seven years.
During Mark’s career, he has been responsible for placing over $3.5 billion of Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) and has more recently developed a number of innovative strategies to help non-profits raise both current and deferred capital. He was a “Top Ten” Producer for 15 consecutive years and achieved “Hall of Fame” status with New England Financial at the age of 29. A member of the Association of Life Underwriters, the National Association of Life Underwriters and Cleveland Association of Life Underwriters, Mark has spoken at various national conventions and seminars, and is the author of several industry articles.
He holds General Securities Representative, Uniform Securities Agent State Law licenses and is life and annuity licensed. He is a Registered Representative with NFP Securities, Inc. Mark holds a B.S. in Business from Miami University of Ohio and earned his CLU and ChFC certifications from the American College.
He is active in a number of boards and community volunteer organizations and is a member of The Country Club, The Owners Club, and Parkside Church. Mark and his wife, Toni, have been married 25 years and have three boys. He enjoys participating in family activities, golf and traveling.
