Bill Moore brings to The Financial Group a solid foundation of over 30 years of sales, marketing, strategic planning and executive management experience.  After graduating from Miami University with a BS in Marketing, Bill launched his career with General Electric Information Services, a $1 billion dollar division of G.E.  During his tenure of eight years with General Electric, Bill concentrated in sales and consulting for software and networking solutions to Fortune 1000 companies, while ultimately elevating himself to the position of Assistant Vice President.

Bill was recruited from the information technology industry to join Capitol American Insurance Company, as National Sales Manager in Cleveland, Ohio.  At that time, Capitol American, an underwriter and provider of specialty insurance products, generated sales of $275 million in premium revenues.  In 1995 when Capitol American was acquired by The Conseco Group of Companies, revenues had escalated to over $1 billion in collected premiums.  After the acquisition, Bill decided to move his family to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he became a founding partner of Alliance Plus, Inc., an insurance agency specializing in the design and sale of group specialty health insurance programs.

At The Financial Group, Bill specializes in designing and implementing wealth transfer concepts for high net worth families, along with proprietary funding strategies to meet the GASB 45 and 43 liabilities for government entities, now estimated at 2 to 3 trillion dollars.

Bill and his wife Debi have been married for over 31 years and they currently reside in Charlotte.  Debi is a National Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics.  Their daughter is a Sales Director with Mary Kay, and their son is a rising senior at Yale University.  Over the years Bill has been active in his church, The Peninsula Club, and is one of the founders of the Blue Harbor Regional Bank.  He has also volunteered on various local boards and committees.  He enjoys family activities, reading, golf, fitness and traveling.
